The day after I had a discussion with Wallholder about the lack of audio software companies making apps for the iPhone, Akai released an app which I am gonna try out. But they never made DAWs for the computer. Why has Propellerhead not made an iPhone app? Is this Still Born’s invention? To have an app for the iPhone that allows you to create Rex files?

Even Apple has not yet released an audio app for their own device, other than the stock voice recorder, which can be trumped by many others, like iProRecorder. Where is Image-Line in terms of an audio app? Where is Cakewalk? Ableton? etc…

I know they do not have to take this route, but doesn’t it make too much sense not too? I will be keeping my eyes open for these “boss” apps and hope to see lots of them in the future.
