Remember, Audio Recording for Intua Beatmaker is only available to iPhone 2G/3G + iPod Touch 2G.

You can record using an external microphone or wired headset.

Your recorded audio will be saved to the My Audio Recordings folder.

- Be sure that you do not have any Calendar events set during the time you will be recording.

- In the Clock Application, check that you do not have any alarms set to go off while recording.

- Do not plug in or unplug your headset during your recording session.

- Do not dock or undock your iPhone/iPod Touch while recording.

- Do not plug your iPhone/iPod Touch into a power source. Depending on your User Settings, your device may beep or vibrate.

Your recorded audio files will be saved in WAV format [ 44.1 kHz | Mono | 16-bits PCM ]

After watching the video, I have to admit that RECORD will be a contender in the growing Pro-Indie music recording community as more and more artists are investing in home/mobile studio gear and computers for their music recording projects.

Oddly enough, existing Reason users who have had to opt-into recording audio tracks using a separate application such as Logic Pro, FL Studio (MICVOX Template) or Pro Tools, may find themselves having to learn an entirely new but familiar user interface just as they make their beats/instrumentals in – Reason.

MICVOX is simply an FL Studio template which is as a shortcut or snapshot of a specific pre-defined configuration and setup of the tools, effects, presets, etc in your FL Studio projects.

MICVOX features a pre-loaded MP3/WAV Beat Audio Clip in the Playlist as well as 2 colorized Mixer Insert Tracks.

Track 1 (RED) is for recording your vocals and it’s auto-configured to your selected ASIO device as set in the Audio Settings window.

Track 2 (GREEN) is routed to the Beat Audio Clip.

By simply replacing the empty-pre-loaded beat in the Playlist with your own by loading a soundfile, you can instantly begin recording vocals over top of the beat once you’ve activated recording from the Main Transport Panel or by using the OCAR (One Click Audio Recording button on the Extra Shortcut Panel).

It is important to note that you must have an ASIO device driver installed and selected in the Audio Settings window.
