Image-Line’s FL Studio Guru Series presents a simple tutorial demonstrating how to sample your VST instruments into FL Studio DirectWave. The VST version of DirectWave is the only version that supports audio recording so be sure that DirectWave VST is running to accomplish this task. Your recorded VST can also be saved as audio loop files within the DirectWave browser (right-panel). I like!

The Make Unique Audio Clip feature within the FL Studio Playlist allows you to clone and make edits to your Audio Clips.

I typically use this feature when I want to save a trimmed version of an Audio Clip that I’ve recorded into the the Playlist. Because FL Studio Playlist editing is non-destructive, meaning the original source file is not affected, the Make Unique Audio Clip takes care of that by saving the edit you’ve made.

Check out this video demonstration to get an idea of how to use it.

If you’re currently using an ILLEGAL copy of FL Studio, then you might be missing out on some great member benefits. Below is a short list of the full 9 Reasons you should consider purchasing FL Studio and becoming a registered owner!

Personally, I decided to purchase FL Studio when I discovered the many benefits of owning a registered copy. One of the key decisions, when I was tempted years ago to just download it, was the fact that you won’t know the true source of a pirated/torrented copy of the FL Studio file you’re downloading.

If you’re serious and care about the safety of your computer, your files and the overall functioning of your computer, then I strongly recommend that you become a registered owner of FL Studio.

There’s also another TOP reason why I decided to purchase FL Studio, and I’ll be sharing it exclusively with SampleSimple Subscribers in the coming days, so be sure to subscribe to SampleSimple to be alerted when its available. For now, check out this short list of the full 9 Reasons why you should own a real copy of FL Studio.

- Lifetime free updates – buy it once and get all future versions of FL Studio
- Keep your PC protected – cracked FL Studio hides security risks
- Get immediate support
- Using pirate copy means breaking the law
- You never know what you are downloading
- Want to be a real producer? Act like a real producer.
- Take all the advantages of being our customer
- Buy FL Studio and support its development
- It’s all about your moral…

When you’re ready to do the right thing, you can receive an automatic 10% Discount OFF your FL Studio purchase.

CORRECTION: This method DOES work with FL Studio 8.

Did you know you can easily import a sounds folder into the FL Studio browser? I’ve observed a number of existing tutorials and forum topics asking how to import sounds into FL Studio and many of the solutions require a number of steps including browsing to C:…Program Files….FL Studio…Data…and so on.

This is a much simpler approach that you can use from any folder located on your computer, including external hard-drives. Check it out!
