I typically use this feature when I want to save a trimmed version of an Audio Clip that I’ve recorded into the the Playlist. Because FL Studio Playlist editing is non-destructive, meaning the original source file is not affected, the Make Unique Audio Clip takes care of that by saving the edit you’ve made.

Did you know you can easily import a sounds folder into the FL Studio browser? I’ve observed a number of existing tutorials and forum topics asking how to import sounds into FL Studio and many of the solutions require a number of steps including browsing to C:…Program Files….FL Studio…Data…and so on.

This is a much simpler approach that you can use from any folder located on your computer, including external hard-drives. Check it out!
