I’ll be off the wall tonight, for a couple hours playing CutDrops (Beats + Sample cuts) at the 2009 Beat Lounge, hosted by Unknown Funk Hero, here in Toronto.
It’s been a while since I’ve played beats in the public. The last time I did was at the Sound Supremacy Battle of the Beatmakers, where I advanced to the 2nd round.
Tonight will be interesting as there are group of Producers and Beatmakers that heavily use samples for their production.
Battle of the Beatmaker Champion, Gigz will be there. Rich Kidd, Mantis and some others.
If you’re in the Toronto area then come by and check it out, as there’s sure to be some crazy cut-sampling going down on loud banging speakers.
