Beatmaker logoIf you have purchased Beatmaker for the iPhone or iPod Touch, it will run on the iPad. So right away, we know that you can make beats and sample on the iPad. That is good to know. The iPad has more to offer than the iPod Touch though, in that it is faster and has a larger display. There is a lot of opportunity here for Intua to possibly link up with another company to develop hardware that would work with a new version of Beatmaker specifically for the iPad.

Imagine having an attachment for the iPad similar to the Alesis ProTrack, that works with Beatmaker,  but bigger, with XLR , Mics and possibly some buttons and faders. Having an external Record and Play button would be a cool feature.  As well, the program has much more potential on the iPad to be a little closer to a complete beatmaking  “Machine”.
