As per the Intua Beatmaker Manual, here are some tips and things to avoid when you’re ready to record audio into your Beatmaker:
Remember, Audio Recording for Intua Beatmaker is only available to iPhone 2G/3G + iPod Touch 2G.
You can record using an external microphone or wired headset.
Your recorded audio will be saved to the My Audio Recordings folder.
- Be sure that you do not have any Calendar events set during the time you will be recording.
- In the Clock Application, check that you do not have any alarms set to go off while recording.
- Do not plug in or unplug your headset during your recording session.
- Do not dock or undock your iPhone/iPod Touch while recording.
- Do not plug your iPhone/iPod Touch into a power source. Depending on your User Settings, your device may beep or vibrate.
Your recorded audio files will be saved in WAV format [ 44.1 kHz | Mono | 16-bits PCM ]
